SMART's line of USB-IF Hi-Speed 2.0 Memory Keys combines a high-performance, high-capacity data storage solution in a low power, compact and convenient package ideal for mobile computing. These Keys act like a hard drive but have the speed and ruggedness of a solid state device. SMART has packaged these industrial grade devices in an ultrasonically welded housing for added protection which are available in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities.

With an integrated controller chip and special proprietary space-management architecture to maximize read/write operations, the Memory Key eliminates the firmware delays associated with sector read and write functions found in first generation memory devices.
